COMPETITIVE EVENTS
FCCLA's competitive and STAR Events are designed to develop character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation. Events can completed as a group or individually, and each participant's performance is measured by an established set of criteria. FCCLA's mission is to focus on the multiple roles of family members, wage earners, and community leaders through their competitive events. Each event is focused around the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards that has been approved since April 2, 2004.
