SOCIAL DISTANCING SERVICES

Despite COVID-19, there are still ways that FCCLA chapters can get involved. Times like these are when communities can really come together as one. Social isolation can get difficult for many, so here are some ways you can help out:

Call your local senior citizen homes and see if they are accepting cards or letters to their residents. Many senior citizen homes are closed to visitors, so make some cards to keep them company! You can visit lovefortheelderly.org for more info.

Answer questions on freerice.com to donate rice to the World Food Programme. You can help feed a hungry person from the comfort of your own home. Free Rice is a foundation in support of the United Nations World Food Programme.

View mask making guides to make face masks to donate to hospitals. If you know how to sew or want to learn, contact this email to receive a mask making kit from The Valley Hospital! Masks will go to Chilton, Hackettstown, Morristown, Newtown, and Overlook Medical Centers.
